Last year we went 'all-out' for summer and were amazed at how much it 'really' cost us. As you suggest, we spent much of our winter lamenting the debt we had created. Planning ahead is good advice, and I WILL be using the travel calculator for the next trip. I just gave it a try and was immediately shocked at just how much we could spend on a vacation without even trying. Great tips and perfect timing.
